My experience at university has been
certainly curious, I have never thought that my first year would be online and
in the middle of a global pandemic, without being able to go to the campus and
meet my new friends. It's been difficult because sometimes it gets tiring being
on the computer all day, but I still like my career so far.
When I applied to different universities
last year, I considered careers like anthropology, history, or political
science, however I finally decided for sociology considering I've always been
interested in what happens around me and the society, along with the study
programmes that include different subjects from social life. It’s funny if I
think about it because when I was a child my dream job was to become a doctor,
even my parents bought books related to medicine for me, but it turned out that
my interests took a different path.
For the future, I haven’t thought
deeply about the kind of job I would like, but I’d be happy if it involves
traveling to other countries around the world, and having the opportunities to
interact with other societies and cultures.
same here, when i was young i also wanted to be a doctor, What country would you like to visit the most?
